Make No Bones About It
—Diversity Equality Inclusion
—OOH, It’s About Time!
Congrats to Geopath and OAAA. It’s about time! No we mean it, congrats! Better late than never. Why this did not become a reality on Stephen and Nancy’s watch I have not a clue. Glad it’s begun.

OOH Today is very happy to see the 2 Out of Home (OOH) Industry Associations, OAAA and Geopath, announce the launch of an equality initiative for the OOH industry. Named OOH UNITED, the new program will work collaboratively to promote a culture of inclusion to extend into all segments within the OOH industry, representing buyers, sellers and suppliers to the industry.
OOH Today is not going to hesitate or be anything less than forthright, in reminding everyone of our continual commentary and call for the Outdoor Industry and its Associations to take action on minority hiring, gender equality and asserting an active role in promoting diversity in the Outdoor Industry.
Diversity and gender equality in OOH has been a topic in many of our posts and in our podcasts since the day we opened our doors in November of 2018. We have listed a few of past posts on the subjects for your review below.
We will not take this topic off our list but will push it down in our priorities of nudging the Industry on the issues we believe need addressed. We will be very sure and definite about keeping progress in our sights with the hope and promise to support future and genuine efforts to affect real change.
It will not be easy, given our history. “Nothing good in life comes easy. The best things take work.”
