What The Hell Were You Thinking When You Selected This Location?

this display was not near a school.

Brewdog Uncommon Bad Dog

BrewDog, a Scottish craft beer, is known for its edgy advertising, OK, maybe outrageous advertising, across all media. Considering its primary consumer, makes sense. The copy in their latest OOH campaign undoubtedly will find some objecting to the message, while others might shrug it off as another beer ad screaming for attention. The campaign was created by agency, Uncommon.
an ad message from Wrapify

Language or implied language aside, apparently BrewDog sat one of its locations next to a primary school.  Not cool.  Billboard location matters more than just impressions and visibility. Not sure BrewDog is to blame.  I don’t know how the OOH business plays in UK.  In the States, it is the Outdoor company’s responsibility to maintain a distance, typically 500 feet, from schools, playgrounds, parks, churches… you get the idea.

PUNK AF? Yes, it is non alcoholic. But ad placement coupled with the language…Bad Dog!

Whoops! Keep in mind, the Brits and Europeans aren’t as ‘sensitive’ as us Americans.

OK. Thank you Dylan. But ‘MOTHERFU’ near a primary school? Would love to know if the ‘offending location’ was moved away from the school.
