Senate Passes Billboard Measure
Here is post from a blog ‘The North Carolina Policy Watch’, which appeared in the Progressive Pulse. (PP) The PP identifies itself as a nonpartisan blog about the issues, debates, and people that affect North Carolina public policy. Progressive Pulse’s post is titled ‘Senate passes billboard measure, eroding local control, allowing for more digital outdoor ads.’
While the PP claims to be nonpartisan, the underlying comments, photo and key word tags, (‘billboards’ and ‘trees’) identify them as maybe, not the best of friends of OOH or billboards. Because after all, where there are billboards, there must be clear cutting of forests. Please Child. OK, we’ll stop being snarky and direct you to the blog, linked below. You decide. Kudos to the OOH Operators, the North Carolina Outdoor Advertising Association, and its Executive Director, TJ Bugbee, who we golfed with at last year’s association conference. TJ is a heck of a smart guy and a solid golfer. Getting it done in state legislature!
