My friend Bill Board, was kind enough to invite me to write a periodic #OOH column. Since I am a man of few words, I promise to keep my riffs short and focused on one thing.
A Trip Through Time on Sunset Strip
I couldn’t do a photo essay of Times Square through the ages without following up by doing one about Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. In my humble opinion Sunset Strip might just be more dynamic from an outdoor advertising perspective than Times Square is. My guess is Netflix would agree with me.
Hard to say exactly why, but I think it has to do with the fact that there is space between the #OOH signs and the hills and palm trees make for an awesome backdrop (not to mention the stars per capita living there).
