Getting Ballsy! In Approach or Off the Stage, OOH Needs More of This
Our rare recommendation of a podcast

… I think we should recognize the opportunities that are there for us and be a little bit more ballsy when we’re selling.
OOH Today seldom promotes any of the OOH podcasts that are out there. Frankly, none exist which tells it like it is. They are all like Saturday Night Live’s NPR Radio skits, without the humor or the star power/A List Actors. Here’s an example of one of the SNL Radio Skit— SNL NPR’s Delicious Dish. SNL is at least funny, with great characters. Which brings us to our rare recommendation of a podcast, Billboards Bets and a bit of Booze.
We recently caught Adomni’s CEO and podcaster, Jonathan Gudai’s conversation with OAAA’s President and CEO Anna Bager. The podcast titled, Billboards Bets and a bit of Booze Episode 02, is promoted as, ‘Misconceptions and obstacles in the world of digital out-of-home are no match for this dynamic duo. Host Jonathan Gudai speaks with Anna Bager, CEO of OAAA, on breaking down those barriers through education, simplification, and bravery.’
We recommend giving Gudai and Bager a listen. It’s a little over 30 minutes. They discuss appropriately, the bets that OAAA is making and what Bager would like to see happen over the next year or so. Best line by Bager, “… I think we should recognize the opportunities that are there for us and be a little bit more ballsy when we’re selling.”
We would love to hear more ‘ballsy comments like that coming from the OAAA, Bager, and the Big 3 and further, take action accordingly.
Nice work Anna and Jonathan.
