DPAA Announces Leading Women in Digital Media Awards Program
Awards Recognizes Outstanding Female Leadership at DPAA Member Companies
NEW YORK – – DPAA, the global trade marketing association, driving the growth and digitization of out-of-home media the omnichannel mix, announced today that nominations are open for its first Leading Women in Digital Media Awards. The awards program developed by WE.DOOH (the industry’s Women’s Empowerment Initiative) recognizes outstanding female leadership at DPAA member companies. Information on how to nominate can be found here. Submissions are due by July 15.
“This is the next step for our women’s empowerment initiative,” said Barry Frey, President & CEO of DPAA. “It’s important we use our platform to recognize outstanding leadership within the DPAA community and the DOOH industry.”
Awards will be given out in three categories and winners recognized at the DPAA Summit on October 10.
- Rising Star – recognizing emerging female leaders
- Unsung Hero – highlights women whose work, actions or activities often go unseen, but have advanced the DOOH industry
- Vanguard – experienced, who looks to advance women in the industry as well as the industry itself
Nominations are due July 15, all DPAA members are encouraged to submit nominations. Submissions will reviewed and award recipients be decided upon by the WE.DOOH Advisory Board.
