OOH Owner Today —BSeen24-7

BSeen24-7 was founded by Royal Forgues in 2010 and owns and operates 170 faces all over upstate New York. The business’ static faces, which have the option for illumination, are located on busy highways and other high-traffic routes. Some of BSeen’s locations include Burke, Malone, Bangor, Westville, Potsdam, Theresa, and many more. In addition to static billboards, the company offers billboard design, wide format printing, vehicle wrap, and mobile billboard services. Forgues answered some questions in an exclusive OOH Today interview.
Q: Why should advertisers choose your business?
A: “The major reason why my clients advertise and stay with us is the time we dedicate to making sure their billboards work. Just out of self-preservation it’s my biggest concern that they can show a direct connection with an increase in sales, brand recognition or just local PR results. Without them having positive results we are out of business. No matter how good our location is, how big the sign is or the traffic count, results are a must. I personally backup the performance of our signs. We refund their money if they are not happy.”
Q: Does BSeen24-7 produce its own wraps or source them from somewhere else?
A: “In the past 12 years we have farmed out all our printing. At first going through a few printers, we ended up with Circle Graphics, they provide the quality, service, and price that most other venders are unable to do.”
Q: Does the business mainly have larger scale or more local brands?
A: “Our client base is mostly local companies consisting of Medical, Legal, Educational, Automotive, Dispensers and Restaurants. We have a few corporate accounts.”
Q: What is the company’s key to success in the OOH business?
A: “We found that the key to our success is persistence. Persistence with the city fathers and with the clients. I found that the answer is always no unless you ask. If you get a no, it’s only no for today. We keep on trying.”
Q: Share a fun fact about your company!
A: “We are located on the USA side of the St. Lawrence River. Which is 50 miles South of Montreal, Canada, 60 miles West of Ottawa, Canada, and 40 miles North of Lake Placid, home of the 1980 winter Olympics. In kidding, I say we are so far North that we still get the Ed Sullivan Show on Sundays.”
