Where is this opportunity located?
- As an Out of Home Sales Representative, you will cover the Daktronics Great Lakes (OH, MI, IN, KY, WVA) and Mid-Atlantic (NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, WV, DC) regions.
- Preferred locations include Detroit, Michigan, Cincinnati or Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania or Baltimore, Maryland.
What will work look like for me?
- You will develop and successfully execute a plan for selling products and services at an acceptable order volume and profit margin in your designated territory.
- You will sell into the independent out of home market which includes calling on direct end-customers.
- You will be responsible for promoting Daktronics products/services during in-person meetings, video conferencing, and product demonstrations.
- You will create business through consultative selling by demonstrating the need for Daktronics product offerings.
- You will grow the active sales opportunities through referrals, lead generation and qualification, product replacement opportunities, proactive prospecting, and sustainable relationships. You will promptly follow up on marketing campaign or trade show leads. These activities will be documented in a timely manner using Salesforce CRM.
- You will be the Daktronics expert consultant with an in depth understanding of Daktronics products capabilities, features, functions, and operation to best meet the customer’s vision. To become the Daktronics expert, you will actively participate in all product and sales trainings.
- You will work effectively as a team member. Work with limited daily supervision.

Qualifications

- Communication skills including good verbal and written skills, ability to develop and present winning presentations of Daktronics products and services and negotiate contracts favorable to Daktronics. Fluent in English, written and verbal.
- Experience selling product values and features. Must demonstrate ability to successfully negotiate price without being the lowest price supplier.
- Understand basics of proposal and sales agreement language to negotiate/finalize agreements in conjunction with the Daktronics Legal Group.

Are you ready to lead a new initiative to establish operations for digital out-of-home advertising within a non-traditional OOH company? Then it’s time to join EMG Media Inc. as a Digital Out-of-Home Advertising Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the digital out-of-home network of digital screens and signage within owned and retail partner locations and helping to grow the network. You will be responsible for the relationships with vendors and advertisers that are booked at our network locations. You will also be responsible for managing all the locations and available assets.
Role Responsibilities
- Management of digital screen network, software, and ongoing maintenance.
- Monitoring locations to see if they are working / non-working / call/speak to owners to troubleshoot and fix.
- Work in close partnership with the creative team to ensure ad and content entry, delivery, and reporting are complete.
- Communicate and collaborate with vendors, managers, and cross-functional groups to proactively identify opportunities, implement new initiatives, and resolve issues within the network.

- Monitor the skipped invoice file on SharePoint and reach out to any customers that have skipped invoices on a weekly basis.
- Review all A/P invoices for accuracy, provide to GM for approval and submit to AP for payment. Create POs for all invoices that are required and process for approvals.
- Create and update weekly Digital Status report for AEs if applicable.
- Work closely with Real Estate leases/accounts in APX to ensure data is correct.
- Review and monitor expenses and look for ways to be efficient.
- Review revenue with the GM including ways to bring in additional revenue and reviewing what is working.
- Assist AEs with understanding of APX and assist in problem resolutions. This includes training new personnel at point of hire.
- Monitor Photo Sheets and provide photos to update as needed.
- Participate in monthly financial reviews GM, CFO, Accounting Manager and CEO.
- Obtain the paperwork for new Independent Contractors, review COI and forms to be sure they are complete and provide to Compliance Manager. Assist Compliance Manager with any questions or clarifications needed for approval process
- Assist GM with quarterly business plans, annual budgeting, and reports.

- Monitor contracts that come in, assign work orders to ensure installs occur on a timely basis in coordination with the operations department, and assist/monitor that billings are released or CCF’s generated if needed.
- Create the CCFs after discussions with the AE/GM, provide to AE and GM for signature and approval and process in APX.
- Review all A/P invoices for accuracy, provide to GM for approval and submit to AP for payment. Create POs for all invoices that are required and process for approvals.
- Interacting with Operations Managers and/or Independent Contractors as needed regarding scheduling or work order processing.
- Create and update weekly Digital Status report for AEs if applicable.
- Work closely with Real Estate leases/accounts in APX to ensure data is correct.
- Create leases, structures and faces for new builds and new managed boards.
- Review and monitor expenses and look for ways to be efficient.
- Review revenue with the GM including ways to bring in additional revenue and reviewing what is working.
- Assist AEs with understanding of APX and assist in problem resolutions. This includes training new personnel at point of hire.
- Monitor Photo Sheets and update photos as needed.
- Participate in monthly financial reviews GM, CFO, Accounting Manager and CEO.
- Obtain the paperwork for new Independent Contractors, review COI and forms to be sure they are complete and provide to Compliance Manager. Assist Compliance Manager with any questions or clarifications needed for approval process
- Assist GM with quarterly business plans, annual budgeting, and reports.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma a must
- College degree preferred
- Three to five years management experience
- Three to five years accounting experience
- Sales team support experience
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Attention to detail
- Apparatix or Intacct experience a plus
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
