Trailhead Media acquires premier
Outdoor asset from Gran Media
Montgomery, Al structure adds to company’s growing portfolio
TUCSON Ariz. – Gran Media announces the divestiture of a significant out-of-home advertising asset in Montgomery, Alabama to Trailhead Media.
The purchase adds to Trailhead Media’s growing list of holdings, which includes more than 3,000 faces across the Southeast. Drachman M&A Co. represented seller, Gran Media, in the transaction. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Trailhead Media CEO, Robert MacMillan, said the acquisition in Alabama is part of his company’s strategy to reinforce their national footprint in key markets in every region of the country.
“We are in a constant process of upgrading and expanding our assets, and this acquisition is a crucial purchase in a key Southeastern market,” MacMillan said. “We want to help our clients solve problems and become better marketers, and this kind of quality addition to our portfolio is something we pursue with alacrity.”
Gran Media CEO, Bobby Bell, said divesting the Alabama asset was a matter of good timing for his company.
“For our overall business strategy, it made sense to complete this transaction with Trailhead Media. They know the Southeast, and our customers will be taken care of in the long run with Trailhead Media,” Bobby Bell said.
