Project Spotlight: Perrier Jouët Storefront Transformations
For this special build, we transformed two storefronts—one in New York City and the other in Los Angeles—into what we hope will be regarded as true works of art. These installations were no ordinary advertising campaigns; they were immersive, location-specific masterpieces that took months of planning and coordination between some of the best artists, fabricators, and technicians in the industry.
The Process: A Behind-the-Scenes Masterpiece
I’ve always believed in sharing behind-the-scenes (BTS) videos that take viewers through the process step by step, giving them a clear understanding of the craftsmanship and creativity required to produce these unique storefront transformations. Every element of these builds is tailored specifically to the facade of each location, ensuring that the design feels like a seamless extension of the environment. Even the artists are hand-selected to match the aesthetic of the specific site.
The Artistic Elements
- Muralists: We collaborated with some of the top muralists in the industry, including BK Foxx in New York and Drew Merritt in Los Angeles, to create stunning backdrops. Their work featured high-frequency details, from thousands of blades of grass to photo-realistic Perrier Jouët bottles, blending artistry with storytelling.
- Floral Sculptures: Foam floral prop designers and airbrush artists created exquisite, larger-than-life floral arrangements, echoing the brand’s signature aesthetic and the beauty of nature.
- Custom LED Lighting: Our in-house LED designers and coders developed bespoke lighting setups that brought the installations to life at night, with programmable effects tailored to each location.
- Window Displays & Fabrication: Window display designers, metal fabricators, and stage lighting specialists worked together to create dynamic, three-dimensional installations that transformed the storefronts into vibrant visual experiences.
Sustainability: Fully Solar-Powered Innovation
In keeping with Perrier Jouët’s ethos of sustainability, both installations were powered entirely by solar energy. Every element—from the interior and exterior lighting to the computers, decoders, and other technology—ran on solar power. This integration of renewable energy not only reduced the environmental footprint but also demonstrated how cutting-edge technology and design can harmonize with sustainability.
The Result: Art Meets Advertising
These storefronts became more than just advertising—they were immersive works of art that captured attention and inspired awe. From the intricate details of the murals to the glowing, solar-powered lighting displays, these builds set a new standard for experiential advertising. By marrying art, technology, and sustainability, we delivered an experience that perfectly aligned with Perrier Jouët’s brand values while captivating audiences in two of the most iconic cities in the world.
