Hector Gonzalez Joins Project X as CRO
Sales Leader Will Apply Proven Expertise to Help Company Continue its Rapid Growth
NYC – Project X Media, Inc. today announced the arrival of Hector Gonzalez as Chief Revenue Officer. Based in Project X’s New York headquarters, Gonzalez will lead the company’s top-line revenue initiatives, with a special focus on scaling Project X’s New Business team. He reports directly to CEO John Laramie.
“We could not be more excited to welcome Hector to the team,” Laramie said. “He has demonstrated quite clearly his ability to build a thriving sales team from top to bottom and has a tremendous reputation within the industry. We look forward to having him bring the experience and techniques he developed throughout his distinguished career to the Project X team and helping us take the next step forward in our growth.”
“He has demonstrated quite clearly his ability to build a thriving sales team from top to bottom and has a tremendous reputation within the industry.
Prior to joining Project X, Gonzalez held the position of Head/Director of Sales at Outfront Media, a leading seller of Out-of-Home advertising inventory. There, Gonzalez built the company’s powerhouse Middle Market division, which successfully sold inventory to many notable e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands.
Gonzalez’s team became well respected within the Out-of-Home industry for introducing upstart brands to the benefits of OOH media and converting them into lifelong OOH devotees as they eventually grew to become household names. This success was rooted in the collaborative, consultative approach Gonzalez built out of his nuanced understanding of the needs of modern brands — an approach he will apply in his new role at Project X.
“John, Josh and the whole Project X team have brought innovative, much needed technology to the Out-of-Home space. I can’t wait to begin using what they’ve built to help brands bring a smarter process to their OOH advertising — one that produces measurable results: new signups, customer acquisitions, or KPIs at any level of their business. Let’s push OOH forward together!”
Gonzalez will join the Project X team (remotely) starting today. Apart from scaling the New Business division, one of his early projects will be helping to roll out the company’s new Analytics Dashboard, an online portal for Project X clients to view the performance of their OOH campaigns.
About Project X: Project X brings brands’ stories to life in the physical world by using its industry leading technology platform to launch Out-of-Home (i.e., billboards, transit/airport ads, etc.) advertising campaigns. They provide marketers access to every format of OOH inventory (digital and traditional) across the US, guiding the entire OOH advertising process — from audience-based planning, to production, proof of posting and more — to ensure seamlessness and success for every client campaign.
