EMC Outdoor Promotes Christie Massey to President
EMC Outdoor is pleased to announce the promotion of Christie Massey to the position of President. Massey has been with the agency since 2005 and had previously served as Director of Client Services since 2017.
Massey has 17 years of experience in the industry, including traditional Out of Home media, Trade Show Marketing, and Experiential Activation. During that time, her responsibilities have included Production Management, Vendor Relations, Media Planning and Buying, Account Management, and Executive Leadership. This experience has given her insights into every aspect of an Out of Home media campaign, from strategic planning to client relations, to all the practical elements of activation. In her previous position, Massey led the Account Management and Media Operations teams in developing, delivering, and activating client media plans and was responsible for managing those teams to meet growth goals.
Massey has been a member of the agency’s Senior Leadership Team since 2014 and has been instrumental in driving significant growth over that period. She has led numerous internal initiatives related to the development and optimization of the agency’s platforms and processes, resulting in improvements across all aspects of the business. Massey has also been a frequent contributor to EMC’s thought leadership in the Out of Home field, with particular emphasis on audience measurement and planning practices.

Over her years in Media Planning and Account Management, Massey has overseen national campaigns for brands like SmileDirectClub, Minted, Chobani, Subway, Famous Footwear, Boost Mobile, and others. Her experience across a wide array of verticals, media types, and client goals has made her a trusted and valued partner with clients and media suppliers and a respected mentor within the agency.

In her new role, Massey will focus on key aspects of positioning the agency for future growth, building on existing relationships across the Out of Home ecosystem, overseeing the delivery of best-in-class service, and driving strategy, value, and positive outcomes for clients.
