What Firefly, Amy Winehouse and the City of LA
Los Angeles Banning Digital Again

Firefly Digital OOH Inventory Bugs the City of LA
Firefly defies the City of LA.
We published the introduction of Firefly last year Here is the link ⇒Firefly Officially Launches.
Today’s news headline for Firefly is about the City of Los Angeles placing a ban on Firefly’s digital car tops.
Inexplicably, hearing about the LA ban brought the instantly memorable song by the late Amy Winehouse, “Rehab“, to mind. Specifically the infamous lyrics:
They tried to make me go to rehab
I said, no, no, no
Yes, I been black
But when I come back, you’ll know, know, know
But I digress. Back to the ban.
We are not saying Firefly needs to go to rehab, no, no, not at all. We’re hearing the City of LA tell Firefly ‘no, no, no’ as to permission to run the streets of the City of Angles. We are also hearing Firefly whispering, ‘know, know, know’ to the City as in, understand the law and what is legal. Firefly appears to be on the right side of this issue. There may be an impending legal battle, but soon enough, we’ll hear both parties singing ‘GO, GO, GO!’ Burn bright, Firefly.

Love this, loving the disruption. Old media needs to adapt!
LA is known as the Father of OOH for a reason. Thank you Gino
