A Behind the Scene Look at the Construct and
Install of the Panera Bread ‘Steaming Billboard’
Take a visit behind the scenes, in the work shop, outside 45 feet up and in a snow storm. Watch the 112 second video created by Lamar Advertising Company in partnership with Agency, Outdoor Nation, of the creation and installation of the Panera Bread Restaurant steaming soup billboard.
The motion of hot steam pouring out of an over sized bowl, which extends beyond the standard surface of a 14′ x 48′ billboard, draws the attention of drivers and beckons them to visit their local Panera Bread to warm up. From the look of the snowfall in the video, it was nearly impossible, ‘hot soup weather’ as the Lamar installation crew battles the elements. The creative and innovative billboard campaign was created by Lamar Advertising Company in partnership with Outdoor Nation. See the details of how the sign was constructed, vinyl hung and Technofog fluid used, to create the illusion of a larger than life steaming hot bowl of soup.
