Billboard Company Dumps Racist Images in Michigan
Billboard4Me.com has removed three billboards in Michigan and is apologizing after being accused of displaying images of Hitler and a racist message on roadside displays. The billboard company said the group called White Lives Matter Michigan used “silhouetted images, acronyms, and other deceptive tactics to get past our initial screening process.”

Court Rules OUTFRONT Must Pay Taxes on MBTA Billboards
The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled that OUTFRONT Media, which sells space on billboards on MBTA property in Boston, has to pay city property taxes on the structures.
OUTFRONT argued that it was exempt from city property taxes because the MBTA land on which the billboards sit is exempt from the taxes and that it was providing a service to the MBTA – in addition to paying the T rent, it had to set aside a percentage of the ad time for MBTA messages. But the state’s highest court concluded that OUTFRONT was “using” MBTA property to make a profit beyond what it was earning from providing a service to the T.
