This announcement from Jeff Jan, OAAA’s Head of Industry Initiatives regarding FOARE. This is probably the most important charitable Foundation purely for Out of Home Advertising. If there is another, please let us know. We strongly urge you to read the message AND SUPPORT with a healthy pledge using the link shared by Jan below.
Make Your End-of-Year Donation to FOARE
As the end of the year approaches, please consider giving your support to an important research and educational initiative for the industry. The Foundation for Out of Home Advertising Research and Education (FOARE) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that serves the out of home advertising industry in several important ways. First, through financial contributions, FOARE has supported major OAAA marketing, communications, and legislative initiatives over many years, including bold industry promotional campaigns, groundbreaking research, and the development of vital guidelines and best practices.
Recently, important and necessary research has been conducted that includes consumer behavior & intent studies with more on the horizon, such as ROI/MMM benchmarking, and OOH media allocation recommendations. This intelligence helps ensure OOH advertising is competitive, garners a greater share within the overall media mix, and provides measurable solutions that solve for business outcomes.
Furthermore, FOARE and several family foundations, provide scholarships to diverse and gifted students at the undergraduate and post-graduate college levels. With donations, the foundation was able to bestow a record number of scholarships last year, most of whom have direct connections to the out of home industry. It is with great pride and significance, through education, that we build upon a legacy of leadership for the future of OOH.
Like most philanthropic foundations, FOARE depends on the support of generous donors to continue the foundation’s good works. I have included a link to the FOARE pledge form, as we appreciate whatever you can donate to help accelerate out of home’s future.
