American Time Use Survey
Make Data Captivating, Absorbing, Interesting, Engaging, Compelling, Gripping
We ran across this video presentation on data of American time use which we found fascinating. Before you move on, take the time to view the video below. Enlarge to ‘full screen’ to view. It is an innovative presentation of data. It is quite different than anything we have seen before and presents an alternative method of sharing data. Does it provide similar interest to you?
Would love to see Geopath Out of Home data used in similar fashion.
Check out this 1 minute 26 second video visualization of a days activity or the daily movement of 1,000 people’s average day. This simulation is based on a survey taken in 2014 from the American Time Use Survey and made accessible by the ATUS Extract Builder. It would be interesting to see how activity in 2018 or 2019 would look. I suspect 5 years has made significant difference in the percentages.
