We spoke to Eric Davis, Director at National Experiential. He discussed what it means to be an experiential vendor and goals moving forward in the OOH industry. Here’s what he had to say:

Will Farmer: Please tell us about National Experiential. How long have you been in business? Staffing? Size? Specialties? Billing? Regional Offices?

Eric Davis: We are a full-service Experiential Vendor. We Activate, Fabricate & Deliver Wow!  National Experiential Launched In late 2018 As an Experiential Vendor.  In January 2019, the Company purchased some key assets that became available on the market and recruited an experienced team of experiential operatives many of which had been working together since 2007. Our Headquarters are in Farmingdale New York with hubs in Texas, Los Angeles, Chicago and Florida.   We specialize in Digital & Experiential Advertising & Marketing. Our resources are deep & our tactics are exceptional.

WF: What would you like brands and the OOH Industry to know about your shop?

ED: We are a one stop shop for all your needs, from fabrication, ideation to activation we have you covered.  We do all our own activations, we are not a broker, we are a vendor.   We staff our own Brand Ambassadors/Street Teams, we do all our work in house.  We also are known to white label for other companies that need a powerful activation partner. 

WF: Any comments or suggestions for OOH reps in approaching or working with your company?

ED: We are fully transparent, hardworking & driven by success.  We love our clients & go out of our way to prove it every day.   If they have a project that they are not sure is even feasible, they should come to us first to determine feasibility & a winning strategy.

WF: Do you work with clients directly and/or through agencies? What is the percentage breakdown?

ED: Funny you ask.  Our breakdowns look like this 65% Agency, 20% White Label & 15% Client Direct.  

WF: What is your most memorable new business pitch?

ED: Every pitch is memorable. Our recent work through the pandemic is most meaningful because we’re helping to open pathways for our industry to understand Best Practices In Today’s Unprecedented Times.  Our Goal Is To See Our Entire Industry Recover & Pivot, So We All Remain Viable.    

WF: What differentiates your business from others?

ED: We are a dominant force in the experiential marketing and advertising arena because we are truly a transparent, one-stop-shop vendor, not a broker, which provides integrated cost-effective solutions that are managed from start to finish within our organization.

We have, without question, the most experienced, professional, responsible, talented and courteous staff in the industry. Our centralized approach to each campaign allows our clients to feel as though they possess their own in-house experiential advertising and marketing team.

We boast quick turnaround times for campaigns of every scale. We are available at a moment’s notice and we go above and beyond the call of duty on every campaign.

We provide real-time proof of performance during each and every campaign, as well as comprehensive post-activation reporting that is unmatched by the competition. Our POP enables advertisers to immediately impact social media and extend the life of their campaigns online.

WF: How do you obtain new business?

WF: Discuss or share OOH campaigns by your shop. 

ED: Our latest was related to Borat. That campaign had National Experiential written all over it. Quick Turnaround (less than a week), Precision Placement and Seamless Activation. We are detailed creatures of habit that our driven by client success on all levels.  What we do requires a very specific skillset. These skills have been acquired over a substantial period of time.  We look beyond the scope of what is traditional and develop tactics for advertisers that move beyond the norms of traditional advertising. No matter what the idea is, no matter if other vendors have said no, we seem to be able to find ways to make it happen and always have a solution to many of the real time problems advertisers are faced with.
