OOH in Cohoot —Q4 RFPs, MilkMoney and Sprint

Cohoot is the anonymous forum for media salespeople. Hundreds of sellers gather on Cohoot’s dedicated OOH channel to share inside info about advertisers and agencies.

We’ve surfaced some of Cohoot’s best OOH insights from this past week here…

MilkMoney
Their mission is to “Provide an easier, faster and more affordable way to purchase outdoor advertising…” Our OOH sellers wanted to know what it’s like to do business with them. Some were concerned about terms and conditions. Other’s highlighted that MilkMoney’s bread and butter may lie primarily in the Music, Cannabis and other “new to OOH” markets.   Full Thread Here>>>

Sprint Q4 RFP
Buzz surrounding Sprint’s OOH RFP for Q4 is pointing to key demos. They are targeting zips/markets around their stores and the 18-49 demographic. Store support is their main focus according to sellers.  Full Thread Here>>>

Getting attention from Rapport and Horizon
If you don’t sell for one of the big 5 vendors, then it can be difficult (or impossible) to break into large agency accounts. Some sellers suggested that GeoPath data can help to back up your offer. Many shared the pain and offered encouragement and ideas for getting that first contact.    Full Thread Here>>>

POS Ads
Selling advertising via POS is it’s own unique challenge. One take is that POS advertising really only offers a 1 on 1 experience with a tiny screen that’s only active when not being used. There may be more effective ways of advertising inside convenience stores.   Full Thread Here>>>
