So anyone that knows me, or follows Movia, or any of our contributions on OOHToday, knows we love OOH and everyone in it. We cherish seeing the channel, clients, agency partners and suppliers do well and thrive.

Most people would think when I see or hear of another competitor coming into the space I’d naturally feel threatened or worried. That’s actually the opposite. I love seeing new companies pop up. With Truckside accounting for a small fraction of OOH executions, I think having more groups in the space will naturally put us all in the limelight more. As they say “let’s make some noise and get noticed!”

I had the pleasure of meeting the new Adgile Media group in Marco Island this year and they seem to have an awesome team. Congrats on joining the party!

BUT…. Their article that came out around the time of the event had a claim that isn’t accurate.

Titled “First Tech-Enabled OOH Truck Ad Network” threw me off since Movia has been doing this since 2015 being FIRST with our propriety Wifi/Bluetooth Measurement Platform which now has 3 granted Patents. We’ve been tech-enabled from day 1 spending roughly 1 year developing our MVP before launching executions. Since then we’ve been proving measurable results with brand partners Walmart, Chobani, Casper, Amazon, Dole, etc and agency partners like Horizon, Dentsu, Kinetic, AdQuick and many more.

We are excited to see the team enter the space and help propel all of us into the limelight. But I also like setting the story straight since our team has worked extremely hard to bootstrap our success with amazing industry partners. Thank you for helping us get to where we are.

Good luck and do well everyone! And may Truckside become even more mainstream!
