Lamar Advertising Company Awarded New Contract to Manage Transit Advertising Across Palm Tran Bus System
Lamar to provide interior and exterior advertising options help brands engage Palm Beach County bus riders
Baton Rouge, LA – Lamar Advertising Company, one of the largest out of home media companies in the world, announced that the company has been awarded a new contract to continue managing all transit advertising for Palm Tran, Inc., the public transit system serving Palm Beach County, Florida. Lamar has served as the transit advertising partner for Palm Tran since 1998.

Palm Tran has a fleet of 159 articulated and hybrid city-style buses that operate within the urban and rural areas of Palm Beach County, covering 8 million miles a year and providing service to a ridership of more than 12 million. Lamar will manage and provide exterior advertising for 100 buses and internal advertising for the entire fleet.

Palm Tran is a non-profit bus system operated by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners. There are 159 buses in the fixed-route fleet, serving 32 routes. The paratransit provider, Palm Tran Connection, has more than 270 vehicles in its fleet. Palm Tran provides roughly nine million rides on its fixed-route service annually.
