M&A Wishes Over Past Years
Publisher’s note: The post below from Seeking Alpha, popped on our screen late yesterday and thought it worth sharing. Is it some kind of double talk? As the brief below reports; Decaux is interested in all or part of CCO in the US, but, also states, buying CCO or Outfront is not on the agenda. Didn’t know either are for sale? I suspect they are not. I have not heard anything. You confused too? On the other hand, you and I never find out about these OOH things until the
Fat Lady starts singing.
The ‘Alpha’ post creates interest and speculation. OOH Today is sitting this one out. For now.
It does makes one wonder, what the OOH Industry would be like with Decaux running CCO or Outfront for that matter. Certainly a topic many of us have discussed over the last 10 years or more. Stay tuned. Right after you read the comments from Jason Aycock, News Editor for Seeking Alpha. The full story and link is below.

“Advertising specialist JCDecaux told the Goldman Sachs Communacopia Conference –audience today, that buying rivals Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings or Outfront Media isn’t on its agenda, after expressing some M&A wishes over the past few years.
But it’s still interested in taking on part or all of CCO, co-CEO Jean-Francois Decaux tells Dealreporter, particularly for its U.S. business. (h/t Bloomberg)
It’s clear CCO isn’t for sale despite a depressed share price, Dealreporter cites Decaux as saying on the conference sidelines.”
CCO is up 2.2% after hours.”
