The OOH Media Plan Awards program honors effective OOH media plans that maximize the synergies between media and creative strategies within an available budget.
Paid advertising campaigns displayed on OOH displays at some point between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019. Identical advertisements displayed during the previous year but entered in any prior OOH Media Plan Awards competition are ineligible. Submissions must be received by August 16, 2019.
Finalists will be announced October 14, 2019.
For an advertisement to qualify for an award, the advertiser (or its agency) will have made payment for media space directly to an OOH media company owning or operating the inventory, the only exception being public service advertisements which can be pro bono. Illegal installations or entries that do not comply with these guidelines may be declared ineligible.
From the finalists chosen, Silver and Gold OOH Media Plan Awards will be selected. One finalist will be chosen to receive the Insights OOH Media Plan Award, a special recognition for outstanding use of Geopath OOH audience data. The highest scoring entry will win the top honor – Media Plan of the Year.
The Awards will be presented in conjunction with The Advertising Club of New York’s annual OOH: NOW event in New York City on December 5, 2019
The OOH Media Plan Awards jury is comprised of five advertising, media, and marketing executives.
