The “Pass It On” public service OOH campaign from the Foundation For a Better Life returns for the 23rd consecutive year. The campaign, which releases a new billboard collection annually, aims to inspire individuals with inspirational messages and endorsements from big-name celebrities. For example, on one of the billboards from the new collection of more than 7 faces, Activist and former South African President Nelson Mandela can be seen next to the phrase “What can one person do?” Other celebrities endorsing the campaign include Dolly Parton, Jane Goodall, William Shatner, and more.
As listed on the campaign website: “The values we live by are worth more when we pass them on. The goal of The Foundation for a Better Life is to offer inspirational messages to people everywhere as a contribution toward promoting universal values, good role models, and a better life.”
The Foundation for a Better Life is a nonprofit organization that is nonpartisan and nonsectarian, so its campaigns don’t have any religious or political implications. The foundation doesn’t pay for media spaces and relies on the generosity of donated media space.
For owners participating in the pro-bono campaign, the Foundation provides standard printed bulletin, poster, and bus shelter/mall kiosk materials in the creative of their choice, completely free of charge. Additionally, owners will receive a one-time posting fee for each installed display. These fees are as follows: $200 for bulletins, $50 for posters, and $25 for bus shelters/kiosks.
