For today’s Fast Fact, let’s take a look at a market with the largest inland city in California – the Fresno market!
Did you know that virtually all of the raisins produced in the US are grown within a 60-mile radius of Fresno? The San Joaquin Valley in California is one of very few places with the right conditions for sun-drying grapes into raisins, the predominant method in raisin production.
The Fresno area has notable biodiversity, nestled among the Sierra Nevada mountain range and in close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Fresno County was settled in the 1850s following the California Gold Rush, and is home to a variety of industries and cultures.

Also among the top OOH spenders in Fresno is the higher education category – some notable colleges in this area are California State University – Fresno, Fresno City College, and Fresno Pacific University.
