DETROIT —Extra Credit Projects (ECP), award-winning advertising agency based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is expanding its offices to include a new studio in Detroit.
“This move has been in the works for a while now. We have a heart for Detroit, with a few members of our team being from the area. We believe there is a lot of opportunity for growth in Detroit, and we want to be a part of it,” said Rob Jackson, Founder and Creative Director of ECP.
Though ECP’s client base reaches nationwide, its Michigan roots run deep. “We have always understood that the heartbeat of Detroit contributes to the pulse of the entire state. With its rich history and continuously improving industry, we see an abundance of potential,” continued Jackson.
I’m looking forward to leveraging that momentum as we tap into the community of innovators shaping Detroit business.”
“We couldn’t be more excited to expand into the new market,” said Rick Iseppi, one of the company’s Detroit-based art directors. “During my six years at ECP, we’ve seen major growth and success, delivering award-winning campaigns for some of West Michigan’s most prestigious companies. I’m looking forward to leveraging that momentum as we tap into the community of innovators shaping Detroit business.”
“As always, we strive to strike a balance between high-caliber brand work and pro bono clients whose causes give back to the community. Our Detroit business will be no exception. It’s why we want to be here.”
The ECP Detroit team is currently located at 2200 Hunt Street in historic police building, Hunt Street Station, where the first police academy in the US was based.
