Dreylon Madison Receives The Scott Carlovsky
Memorial Scholarship

The Las Vegas OOH community came together to recognize scholarship recipients who didn’t get the opportunity to celebrate together in person.  It was also a chance to remember and honor an industry innovator, Scott Carlovsky.

The values Outdoor Solutions founder Scott Carlovsky held close – helping those in need, giving back to the community and earning respect from his out-of-home media colleagues – all came together in a fitting tribute in Las Vegas.

Carlovsky passed away in 2018 at the age of 49, leaving behind a legacy of father, husband and OOH industry innovator, building Outdoor Solutions from the ground up to one of the most respected providers in the industry.

To honor him, a group of colleagues and more than a dozen companies partnered with the Fulfillment Fund Las Vegas to create the Scott Carlovsky Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was to go to a senior at Las Vegas’ Chapparal High School (the alma mater of his wife, Paige) who showed an interest in the fields of media, marketing or entrepreneurship, would attend a Nevada university and demonstrated a commitment to hard work and community involvement.

The effort raised more than $25,000 for the scholarship, which this year was awarded to senior Dreylon Madison who will attend the University of Nevada – Reno this fall.

To acknowledge the scholarship, several OOH companies shared the image of Dreylon and Scott across the Las Vegas valley in a two week-long celebration. The participating companies included Ad Media/Adomni, Branded Cities, Clear Channel, Connell, Kre-8 Media, Lamar, LV Billboards and Reagan.

“We’re honored to keep the legacy of Scott alive with this scholarship to Dreylon,” said Lindy Schumacher, Chief Executive Officer of Fulfillment Fund Las Vegas. “Moments like these remind us that education is the equalizer. The scholarships awarded to our students represent our community’s commitment to that belief. Our donors find great pride in contributing to our students’ success.”

The Scott Carlovsky Memorial Scholarship will continue. To donate or for more information, contact Christy Miller at cmiller@outdooradsolutions.com .
