As stated in the opening paragraph below, Cohoot is the anonymous forum for media salespeople. Sellers gather on Cohoot’s dedicated OOH channel to share inside info about advertisers and agencies.

We at OOH Today, are relatively certain there are also OOH software, tech and programmatic sales types on the channel. And certainly a few OOH buying services have managed to join in. Though we are not 100% sure, as we do not have access to members names or avatars or any information.

It has recently come to my attention, some of the discussions are ‘tough’ and gossipy about certain people and organizations. 

OOH Today does not endorse any of the ‘tough’ or gossip comments which appears in the Cohoot channel. We review the posts when submitted to us by Cohoot before we publish. Opinions in Cohoot do no reflect those of OOH Today. If we have an opinion to share in Cohoot, we share it as  member. We are not very anonymous, as our avatar is known as ‘Bill OOHToday’.

Final word, we were advised by several people recently, it has been nearly a year since the first time we heard this, some of you believe OOH Today runs, manages or owns Cohoot.  Not the case at all. We only publish Cohoot ‘posts’ as a submitted ‘article’ as we might for others who submit.

Cohoot is an on line community for media salespeople under the umbrella of a company called SellersCrowd, Inc

We receive no compensation from Cohoot. Hell, we don’t even receive a complimentary membership of the paid version. Our benefits are content for readership in our daily newsletter and providing ‘Bill OOHToday’ with a increased level status as we gain credits when people join via our invitation at the bottom of each page. We heard if we reach a certain status level we win a 2 piece set of steak knives.  We will not plan any dinner around that last piece of information and you probably should not either.
