Call for Entries: 2018 OOH Media Plan Awards
What: The Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA) today announced the official call for 2018 Out of Home (OOH) Media Plan Award entries. The OOH Media Plan Awards program honors effective #OOH media plans that maximize the synergies between media and creative strategies within an available budget.
When: Eligibility for the 2018 OOH Media Plan Awards competition requires that paid advertising was displayed on an #OOH advertising location at some point between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018. Identical advertisements displayed during any previous year and entered in any prior #OOHMediaPlanAwards competition are ineligible.
Submissions must be received by August 10, 2018.
Finalists will be announced October 15, 2018.
The Awards will be presented in conjunction with The Advertising Club of New York’s annual OOH: NOW event in New York City, to be held this year on December 5.
Details: For an advertisement to qualify for an award, the advertiser (or its agency) will have made payment for media space directly to an OOH media company owning or operating the media space, the only exception being public service advertisements which can be pro bono. Illegal installations or entries that do not comply with these guidelines may be declared ineligible.
From the finalists chosen, Silver and Gold OOH Media Plan Awards will be selected. One finalist will be chosen to receive the OOH Insights Award, a special recognition for outstanding use of Geopath OOH audience data. The highest scoring entry will win the top honor – Media Plan of the Year.
Who: The OOH Media Plan Awards jury is comprised of a panel of five advertising, media, and marketing executives.
