What Do Dinosaurs, Smoking, and Ukraine Have in Common?

Boom ECHO

Boom has been placing, pitching, and monitoring PSA content for clients for nearly two decades, delving into the OOH arena several years ago in partnership with the Out of Home For Good platform.

BoomECHO is focused exclusively on “Extending Causes in Homes and Out of Home.” The brand maintains strict guidelines for PSAs. To make the grade, the ad must be provided by a true non-profit organization or advocacy partnership and serve the public with educational or informative content, avoiding a direct request for donations or monetary support. Highly desirable topics for PSAs are education, environment, health and safety and content in Spanish is also in high demand.

Here are a few of the most recent campaigns that made the cut:

Americares is responding to the crisis in Ukraine

Americares, a 501(c)3 organization, has an emergency response team in Poland now, focused on delivering medicine and medical supplies and supporting health services, including mental health and psychosocial support for refugees and survivors who have experienced trauma.

Please help us shine a spotlight on this immediate and urgent crisis by posting these digital OOH assets as soon and on as many units as possible.

Screen Your Lungs

The Screen Your Lungs campaign seeks to transport our target audience back to a time-period when smoking was simply part of everyday life in order to motivate the at-risk population to get their lungs screened without attaching judgement to prior smoking history. This campaign is the first of its kind joint effort between Genentech and the top lung cancer patient advocacy groups to increase awareness about lung cancer screening.

Please help us motivate at-risk Americans to get screened by posting these creatives in your area through June 1, 2022.

Code Red for Humanity

The UN Secretary-General has called the climate crisis a “Code Red for Humanity.” The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is emphasizing this urgent message by literally bringing a dinosaur to the UN headquarters to raise awareness of just how critical the situation is and urge climate action from global leaders.

And, they also brought a dinosaur to their OOH PSA, which serves as a centerpiece of the agency’s new ‘Don’t Choose Extinction’ campaign. Visit www.dontchooseextinction.com for more info. Learn more about these campaigns and download assets here.About Boom
