Two —NYC— Outdoor Advertising Stories of Inspiration

Curb Taxi Media and Vector Media Take on COVID-19

Vector Media Partners with Carisma Creates

Vector Media, the largest transit advertiser in the country and their longtime partner Carisma Creates (https://4carisma.com/) have collaborated to provide frontline COVID-19 workers with face shields during a time when PPE is still few and far between.

President & CEO Moshe Gil, Carisma, along with their staff, came up with a face shield solution that they could make utilizing some of the supplies they use every day to create advertising solutions.

Thus far, Carisma and Vector have donated 3000 face shields to various hospitals and clinics in NYC.

Curb’s Up

Curb Taxi Media (Curb) continues to engage and connect with family, friends and clients. They came together and created an initiative called #ARTONCURB. While millions of young kids are stuck at home, online education just doesn’t fill their needs leaving parents, many who are lucky enough to work, to be more creative than ever.

‘Curb’ created this landing page https://www.curbtaximedia.com/artoncurb so kids with the help of their parents can use a design template to create a picture thanking a local community worker who is on the front lines!  Once its submitted, Curb will choose up to 10 entrants who will have their artwork displayed across their digital taxi tops and taxi tv screens for all of NYC to see!

Say thank you to your community through Art!

Calling all Kids!

Curb Taxi Media, the leading mobility media company connecting brands with audiences on the go, is inviting children (ages 5-11) to submit a picture thanking someone in your community who is helping us all get through this NY stay at home order!

TASK: With the help of your parents, think about someone who is currently helping your community during the fight against Covid-19. It can be a doctor, nurse, grocery store worker, postal worker, sanitation worker, police officer, firefighter, taxi or bus driver. Draw a picture that says “thank you” for what they do to help people. Please be as detailed and colorful as you can.

Then in one to two sentences, describe your picture and what it means upon uploading your submission.

We will select 10 drawings to be displayed across Curb’s Digital Taxi Advertising network for all of NYC to see!

SUGGESTED MATERIALS:  If drawing, crayons, colored pencils, paint, water colors, markers. If digital, just upload the file to the form!

SUBMISSION:  Print out the Curb template here and draw your picture only within the black border.

Once it’s complete, you can scan it and upload it by clicking “Enter Submission” below. If you don’t have access to a scanner, you can take a photo of it and upload the file, but we recommend using a Scanner app for higher quality.

If taking a photo, please make sure the flash is on and you are in a bright room inside your home.

All submissions must be submitted no later than Friday May 1st.

  • Children aged 5-11 are eligible to submit with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

10 submissions will be announced on www.curbtaximedia.com and the Curb social handles.
