SDCC 2022: Apple TV+ Takes Over Hard Rock San Diego
San Diego Comic-Con 2022 has officially come to an end. At one time SDCC was a mini, one-day event that featured just comics and has grown to be one of the best-attended pop culture events in the world. In 2018, Forbes reported that growing numbers of attendees are spending time outside the official activities of the Con at the gigantic pop-up attractions that entertainment brands construct in nearby parking lots, parks and public spaces. That includes OOH builds.
This year, San Diego-based experiential marketing firm, GDX Studios (formerly Grandesign), took over the exterior of the Hard Rock San Diego for Apple TV+ highlighting their new show, Severance.
