Scott Wells CEO Clear Channel Outdoor
Help Solve Marketing Challenges for National Advertising Clients Video
Clear Channel Outdoor Americas CEO Scott Wells
This popped on my LinkedIn recently. Scott Wells video interview via Bloomberg below. It’s not everyday most of us get to hear the CEO of one of the Big 3, or 4 or 5, speak. It would be nice to have that opportunity more often.
I trust the ‘working folks’ at Clear Channel Outdoor, can pick up a phone and speak to Scott Wells with little trouble and great success. I don’t know that to be true today but it was true years ago for all the OOH companies where people in ‘the trenches’ were able to reach the ‘top guy’ by telephone within a reasonable period of time. Further, the opportunities existed to meet, when the CEO would make a market visit which was no less than once a year and sometimes more often, depending on your proximity to his offices and you making your budget. Please send us a comment below. Short simple note: For example: ‘CCO -“Yes, Scott does”. Outfront- “Jeremy visits”, Lamar- “Sean Reilly, often”, Adams/Fairway, “we see Kevin Gleason in our office”. JCDecaux- “Jean-Luc Decaux in town”
Let us know how often you see your CEO and if you can indeed, speak with him. If you are concerned about anonymity: Send it to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll report without mention of source. We’d like to know and share back to everyone.
Sit back, put your feet up, grab a cold one and enjoy the video interview of Scott Wells.
Do not get too comfortable; its only 1 minute and 35 seconds.
Talent is my number one job. I am the recruiter-in-chief.

Vince Manone is much more accessible that I was when I held his position. You are able to contact and receive answers on any questions with him 24 hours a day. LITERALLY. The problem becomes he also has questions 24 hours a day that he feels should be answered. And Vince doesn’t give up until he gets the answer he needs. I have seen it 100x before
Thank you for your comments Dean. We trust Vince appreciates them as well.
