Industry Associations and Organizations

Memberships reflect the company’s commitment to the OOH industry
as the growth of its mDOOH network continues

 

Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – Road Runner Media, a mobile Digital Out Of Home (mDOOH) media company driving the future of road safety and advertising, today announced that the company has joined the major Out of Home trade organizations including the Digital Signage Federation (DSF), DPAA Global, Geopath, and the Out of Home Advertising Association of America (OAAA).

Road Runner Media launched from beta earlier this year with $62.5 million in financing to grow its national network of connected screens mounted to fleets of moving commercial vehicles. The screens display brand advertising and PSA while the vehicle is in motion and serve as a 46-inch “Enhanced Digital Brake Light,” helping to improve road safety by alerting surrounding drivers when the vehicle operator brakes, selects turn signals, reverses, or activates emergency flashers.

“In building out their new mobile Digital Out of Home network, Road Runner is providing brands yet another channel for reaching and engaging mobile audiences in a measurable and attributable way,” said Kym Frank, President of Geopath.

Road Runner recently announced deals with Siemens to secure screens on 2,500 technicians’ vans. The company’s inventory is also available to be bought programmatically by brand marketers and omnichannel media buyers via Place Exchange.
