Parade Crowds Create Real Lift for OOH
In honor of Thanksgiving, StreetMetrics analyzed Out-of-Home impression performance around the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade to understand how one of the country’s biggest public events shapes exposure along the route.
The result: a meaningful +39% lift in impressions compared to comparable November days at the same time of day.
When Impressions Peak (Hour by Hour)
Looking across the full parade window, one time block stood out: 12–1 PM delivered the highest impressions of the day.
By midday, crowds settle in, the biggest balloons hit their stride, and audience density reaches its peak – creating the best opportunity for advertisers to maximize visibility.
