We promised to return today with more on our story from Friday, on what we have heard about the Agreement for Remaining Fairway Outdoor Markets Rumored to be Complete. ⇐Click background story.
Still, no official announcement or comments from any of the participants. Our caveat and we stress this is rumored; word on the street is Reagan Outdoor Advertising. This has been confirmed by 4 completely independent parties as the buyer of 3 Fairway markets, Chattanooga, Indiana and Minnesota (North Central Division).
We understand an agreement is in place, with paperwork, i’s and t’s needing resolution and not the least of which, the ever-present tug of war determining final value; which may unwind the deal if the ‘investors’ over value the properties. This leaves 3 other Fairway OOH markets in play and we have heard nothing, rumor or other wise about the remaining 3. We have to think Link Media Outdoor is in the hunt.
This should be good news for the Fairway employees waiting in limbo. Reagan and Link are professional OOH operators with years of successful experience. Be happy it’s not investment types hoping to make a quick buck. We’ll update as we learn more.
