Gregory Pruitt

Gregory Pruitt Bio –

I’m an award-winning creative project manager with more than 20 years of experience working in the entertainment and broadcast media industry.

I got my start in television after obtaining a full-time position as a stage manager/camera operator for the one-hour live country music variety show that was produced by JOA.  This was my dream job as it combined my love for television entertainment with my passion for music.

After some time the live show eventually left Jim Owens & Associates, so I decided to find a more permanent career closer to my home in Orlando, Florida.  After moving to Orlando, I landed a position as a video editor at the newly formed Golf Channel in 1995.  At that time, Golf was the first one-sport broadcasting company in the US.   The Golf Channel was a great place to continue my career as there were ample opportunities to develop my trade as a video editor.  It was amazing seeing a company grow from what it was then to where it is now.  I want to say that I’ve had a big hand in making that happen and appreciate all the opportunities that were afforded to me at my time with Golf Channel.

In my final position at Golf, I was the Senior Director, Creative Solutions.  I was in charge of the department that created short-form video and presentation materials for some of Golf Channel’s highest-profile projects.  These projects involved collaborating with multiple departments to provide the best solutions under very tight deadlines.  I was in charge of creating performance-driven solutions through the creation of many in-house workflows, that also helped maintain the integrity and quality of the Golf Channel brand.

Now, I’m using my time continuing to hone my creative skills while helping to give back to the world.   I am known as a versatile creative lead, who can bring life to all projects that I touch, through all forms of mass media. My passion is working on projects that have a positive impact on people.  If I were to tell anyone what my perfect job would be, it would be helping others through creative media.
