OOH Leads with the Opening of New York in Phase 1
New Yorkers Use OOH for Phase I Reopening
TBWA\Chiat\Day NY, on behalf of the State of New York, created Outdoor Ads to hit the streets as the state reopens to Phase 1 from the Corona lock down. Created with simple messages to stop COVID-19 spread, the campaign appeared on thousands of transit buses and trains, digital and static billboards in NYC at Broadway, Times Square and Columbus Circle and upstate in Albany and Buffalo.

“Public service announcements can be clinical, so we approached this campaign by disrupting this advertising convention, ensuring each creative asset was as eye-catching as possible,” said Rob Schwartz, CEO at TBWA\Chiat\Day NY. “We wanted to deliver critical, clear information in a disarming and memorable way.”
“Our goal was to create bold, simple graphics to rise above the distractions of the city,” says Alexander Holm, ACD for TBWA.
