About the job

ICON International is currently searching for an OOH (Out-Of-Home) Media Buyer in either the Greenwich, CT or Ft. Lauderdale, FL office locations.

Position Description

The position of OOH Buyer will need to plan and negotiate Out-Of-Home (OOH) media while

creating leverage and increasing the overall profitability of assigned buys. 

Essential Job Functions   

  • Interacts with clients, media vendors, and account managers regarding account status, and negotiations.
  • Negotiates with media vendors while securing OOH inventory while meeting profit goals.
  • Can easily manage buying/planning for multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using and explaining OOH terminology.
    • Must be able to utilize available data to support all OOH recommendations
  • Develops and maintains relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Analyzes media plans to determine which would most effectively reach target audience and increase profitability.
    • Manages the RFP process; creates, coordinates, and distributes RFP to vendor consideration list.
    • Follows industry trends and keeps up with marketplace conditions.
    • Ensures accuracy on all media authorizations & vendor contracts
    • Collaborate with fellow team members for efficient workflow
    • Use of inventory banks against buys were applicable; engage with department leaders to initiate new trade opportunities.
  • May be trained to also buy other media forms as needed.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required
  • Preferred minimum of three years of OOH Media buying/planning experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Geopath’s Workspace and Explore a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, work successfully with teams and work under pressure
  • Strong Communication, project management and time management skills

Position Description

The Leasing Manager oversees all real estate related functions and activities necessary to profitably secure, maintain and grow the company’s real estate portfolio of leased and owned properties in a manner consistent with Alchemy’s business practices. Experience in, or knowledge of, the outdoor advertising industry would be a plus in this role.  Compensation is competitive and commensurate with the successful candidate’s level of experience.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Surveying locations for leasing in areas as directed by the Vice President of Real Estate. Take photos, measurements, check zoning, gather and keep track of contact info, and any other information required.
  • Preparing, presenting, and negotiating agreements with landowners, their agents, or representatives for the purpose of securing new or existing real estate assets.
  • Monitoring, tracking, and analyzing critical operational data and dates associated with numerous lease agreements, owned properties, and other real estate assets.
  • Strategic planning, development, and execution of lease and/or purchase strategies through operational, financial, and organizational analyses.
  • Maintaining relationships with landlords and expanding opportunities through their relationships.
  • Serving as the primary contact and liaison between the internal company departments and landlords to ensure continued access to the company’s signs and resolving any appearance issues or damage.
  • Assist the Vice President of Real Estate in all related real estate projects as directed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

  • Ability to know and understand city and state codes/regulations (as applicable), related maps for all jurisdictions within the designated market area, and an understanding of the permitting and variance process for each jurisdiction.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, possessing the ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands while establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Must have computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, etc.), web applications, and the ability to learn job related computer programs quickly and easily.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or job-related experience

    • Writing RFPs to be issued to vendors and ensuring that all appropriate vendors within a market are included in the request
    • Negotiate OOH media buys
    • Provide back-up research data to support the OOH recommendation.

    • Oversee posting of media to ensure the campaign is executed accurately and in a timely manner
    • Performs market rides as needed
  • In depth knowledge of available vendors and media formats in markets relevant to assigned client(s)

  • Adhere to and establish as needed, best practices, including systems and procedures for timely and accurate processing of work
  • Create timely and compelling buy/post buy presentations, which highlight the quality and thinking of Agency’s work

Managerial Responsibilities (30% of time):
