Omnicom CEO Encouraging about APAC but Still Mandating Work From Home Policy
Omnicom CEO, John Wren, says the Asia Pacific area of the world is returning to back to business ‘as usual’. Not sure what exactly that means and if it is a wishful encouraging sentiments of an advertising man. Either way, I welcome the message as it is important we watch the events in Asia who is a few months ahead of us in the coronavirus outbreak.
As Asia shows signs of recovery we should be able to learn from and anticipate a faster recovery for ourselves.
In the same Campaign Live article, Wren sent an email to the company’s 70,000 employees stating the company is implementing a global work from home policy on March 16 while stressing only essential staff go into the office.
The Omnicom Group CEO, John Wren told staff of “marked improvements in China and Singapore with teams starting to get back to business as usual.”
