Best of Outdoor for November

The Best of Outdoor is a OMA’s monthly selection of local and international Out of Home (OOH) campaigns to fuel your creativity and inspire your next moment of genius.

Shrinking OOH in Canada

Little Canada, the replication of Canada in miniature as a tourist destination for more than 120,000 visitors annually, has now welcomed OOH advertising – but in miniature!  Subway have launched a “footlong” billboard which is, in fact, only 1 foot long! It’s a clever and cost-effective way of getting OOH advertising in high traffic areas – without actually placing them in those destination in real life.

Staying overseas… and counting down to a Cadbury Christmas

We love real life images in OOH and Cadbury have launched an Advent Calendar themed OOH campaign featuring user-generated content of families in the 24 days that lead up to Christmas. It’s homey and accessible and another example of how OOH taps into the community spirit.

Kitchen Warehouse & Revolution 360 had us in a spin!

Kitchen Warehouse literally broke Revolution360’s OOH assets to bring us some of the most unique Black Friday creative we’ve seen. These special builds on classic sites with individual concepts for each location attracted not only a lot of media attention but a double take from passers-by. They blended and spun the creative, broke the bases of signs with the weight of pots and pans, ripped and shredded and toasted!

Samsung Galaxy Z Series & Scentre Group takeover Westfield Sydney in spectacular style!

The OOH campaign immersed shoppers in the world of the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6. From towering 3D SuperScreens to sleek SmartScreens and Digital Directories, every step through the centre was a chance to explore Samsung’s cutting-edge innovation.

As part of the takeover, Samsung’s Impossible Selfie with Sweet Ben, a giant huggable creature, showcased the FlexCam’s Auto Zoom, perfectly framing even the biggest selfie challenges.
