Tourism organization Meet Boston.com has taken Ocean Outdoor screens across Glasgow and in Edinburgh to seal their new found transatlantic alliance after more than 50,000 Scottish football fans descended on the World Cup host city for the Haiti and Morocco matches.
The Tartan Army boosted the local economy, drinking bars dry and placing traffic cones as hats on famous Boston statues. The OOH campaign, which endorses the glorious meeting of two cultures, features messages like Don’t worry we restocked the beer, and No Boston. No Party, with an invitation to Come back anytime, Scotland.
The seven day activation was planned through global OOH specialist billups and Allen & Gerritsen.
