Little Caesars promised free pizza if a 16 seed beat a 1 seed
This has absolutely nothing to do with OOH, but we like to bring you value when ever we are able. How does a free lunch sound? Not on OOH Today, we’re just the messenger. Little Caesars promised when March Madness began, they’d give away free pizza for lunch, if a number 16 seed beat a number 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. If you are a fan of college hoops, you know UMBC crushed the University of Virginia. Don’t know what the odds were, but after 135 games or opportunities, it happened. UVA is the only number 1 seed to lose to a number 16. As much as the fans in Charlottesville love their coach, Tony Bennett, this marks the beginning of the end. Yes, a key player for the Cavaliers was injured. Excuses aside, Bennett’s players were not prepared to play. Not even Lady Gaga will be able to save him.

The bright side is the free pizza. The University Maryland, Baltimore County Retrievers, Cinderella story came to an end last night to the Kansas State Wildcats. Number 16 does not move on to the Sweet 16, but the Retrievers will always be remembered for the NCAA Tournament historical feat!
As for the free pizza, Little Caesars tweeted they would honor the free lunch Monday, April 2 between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. local time. Note, there is some fine print in the offer. Our advice, get their early.
