1. Farewell to OAAA’s Marci Werlinich

B.B.’s Take: This is surprising news! This is a big change on the guard. Send Marci your best wishes. Marci Werlinich is ‘departing’ her position as Exec VP of Operations from the OAAA, effective February 28. Marci started with the OAAA 39 years ago, making a rare ‘lifetime’ commitment to one organization, which only a special few can endure and sacrifice for an organization’s good. In her initial role as a receptionist, I recall Marci always being the go-to person for any industry needs or direction. Marci has been the OAAA’s ‘keeper of the flame‘ and shining beacon for the OOH industry. Her dedication to supporting others will be deeply missed. Thank you, Marci!
2. OUTFRONT Full Year ’24 Results

OUTFRONT Media Inc. reported its financial results for the year ending December 31, 2024, with consolidated revenues reaching $1,830.9 million—a modest increase of $10.3 million, or 0.6%, compared to the previous year. Organic revenues experienced a more notable rise of 3.9%, totaling $1,796.0 million.
The billboard segment contributed significantly, with reported revenues of $1,409.3 million, marking a 2.9% increase driven by higher average revenue per display, particularly from digital billboards enhanced by programmatic and direct sale advertising platforms. Similarly, the transit segment saw an 8.8% revenue boost, amounting to $383.8 million, primarily due to increased average revenue per display.
Interim CEO Nick Brien highlighted stronger-than-expected Q4 growth and AFFO exceeding guidance, positioning the company well for 2025.
B.B.’s Take: When 4% is not acceptable growth, how should 3.9% growth be judged? You know the answer to that one. Waaaaay to early to make a call.
3. Must Attend Event for Independent OOH Owners —The Independents Summit Boston May 5

The Out of Home Advertising Association of America (OAAA) is hosting the Independents Summit on May 5, 2025, in Boston, coinciding with the 2025 OOH Media Conference.
