Julie Johnson named Adams Outdoor Charlotte GM

After 16 years in the Madison, Wisconsin market,  Julie Johnson is now the General Manager for  Charlotte, North Carolina, at Adams Outdoor. The company has made other recent management changes. Last week Adams Outdoor announced its appointment of Kevin Jones as CEO.

“Sometimes in life, the most unexpected opportunities emerge and change the direction you thought you were headed. These waves ultimately make us better surfers in life.”

Johnson was recognized by OOH Today earlier this year as one of the top women driving growth in out-of-home 2024. Over the last 16 years at Adams Outdoor, she worked her way up from Account Executive to Sales Manager to General Manager in the greater Madison area. The Charlotte market is larger and quite different than the Madison market,  but Johnson is up for the challenge.

These waves ultimately make us better surfers in life,” Johnson recently wrote on LinkedIn. “The last 16 years at AOA Madison, WI will forever be special to me not only because of this amazing city but more importantly all of the unforgettable people that I have worked with both internally and externally.”
