Vita Coco Uses Red Rock Outdoor For Competitive Creative Campaign for NY

Earlier this month, coconut water brand Vita Coco launched a campaign to give recent graduates and aspiring designers an opportunity to complete their empty billboard on Sunset Blvd. in LA. Impressed with the brand’s creative out-of-home campaign, NY-based OOH advertising agency Red Rock Outdoor reached out to Vita Coco to help get NY creators involved, too.
This is all part of a broader campaign, “It Starts with a Vita Coco.” The campaign, which features outdoor and digital media, seeks to illustrate that Vita Coco is the natural boost you need to get any and all balls rolling. Creatives have until Oct. 4 to submit their designs to complete their billboards.
The rewards are enticing: the first 100 submissions will get a year subscription to Squarespace to showcase their work; the top 10 submissions will get $1K cash to build out their portfolio, and the winner will get their first job as a junior designer with Vita Coco. Winners will be notified by Oct. 10.
