We heard rumblings about 45 days ago but discounted the message because of the messenger. Frankly, we didn’t believe there was anyway they would know such news. Then we heard it again two weeks ago from another source with stronger conviction. Monday it was confirmed by a new source who knows.
Billups, an advertising technology company, servicing the OOH and DOOH marketplace, reportedly has purchased 22 year long standing OOH planning and placement agency, MacDonald Media. Details are unavailable to us at this time. We were unable to secure comments or official from Billups or MacDonald Media before press time. Official announcement coming this week.
