Revived NYC Ban on Ads on ‘Ride Share’ Cars

It’s an idea which could change the OOH landscape while impacting the income of many peoples lives. Therein lies the issues. Citing negative impact on the city’s landscape and protecting medallion vehicles, NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission says no advertising to for-hire vehicles. It is not the direction many had in mind for the new advertising idea.
The Brooklyn Daily Eagle reports, “after months of legal proceedings, a ban on display advertising both inside and outside for-hire vehicles is back in effect starting Saturday, Aug. 31.
