Lamar Advertising and Ronald McDonald House
Enter into Yearlong Pro Bono Partnership
Collaboration will combine Lamar’s nationwide Out of Home advertising network with local employee volunteerism to drive awareness of the Ronald McDonald House mission and help expand its impact
Baton Rouge, LA – Lamar Advertising, one of the largest outdoor advertising companies in the world, today announced it has selected Ronald McDonald House as its in-kind partner for 2026. Over the next 12 months, Lamar expects to allocate more than $2 million in digital Out of Home media across the country to help Ronald McDonald House amplify its impact on families, as well as attract new donors and volunteers. Additionally, Lamar Advertising employees will volunteer in their local communities with Ronald McDonald House Chapters throughout the year.
Since 1974, Ronald McDonald House has been supporting families with children who are ill or injured, providing essential resources, accommodations and a community of support. With more than 250 Chapters worldwide, Ronald McDonald House has served tens of millions of families, ensuring they are able to stay close and actively involved in their child’s medical care.
“A growing number of families rely on Ronald McDonald House when their children need specialized treatments and health care, however many of our programs have waiting lists,” said Joanna Sabato, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Ronald McDonald House Global. “We are incredibly grateful to Lamar Advertising for their generous donation of outdoor advertising space to help us continue to amplify the increasing need to provide more families with holistic, wraparound support when they need it most.”
Each year since 2023, Lamar has selected a nonprofit organization for a yearlong pro bono partnership. Lamar uses its nationwide outdoor advertising network to promote programs, seek support for volunteers, raise money, and increase awareness of the partner’s mission. Previous partners include Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and Make-A-Wish.
“For decades, Ronald McDonald House has been dedicated to supporting families dealing with the unimaginable heartbreak of caring for a child who is ill or injured,” said Sean Reilly, CEO of Lamar Advertising Company. “We look forward to activating our Out of Home network and our dedicated employees, who are always eager to make a meaningful impact in their communities, to help elevate the mission of Ronald McDonald House and connect more families to the resources they provide.”
Lamar and Ronald McDonald House will launch the first national digital billboard campaign for International Family Day on May 15th. As it has done throughout recent in-kind partnerships, Lamar will continue to allocate OOH space to help other non-profit and charitable organizations promote worthy causes throughout the year.
