THE TOP 50 BEST WORKPLACES IN ADVERTISING & MARKETING
The Lindmark Companies, formerly known as Lindmark Outdoor Media, received the prestigious recognition of being a 2023 Great Place to Work®. On top of that honor, Lindmark also made Fortune’s 2023 list of the Top 50 Best Workplaces in Advertising and Marketing. Like just about every employee at every company, Lindmark’s employees work hard. Lindmark Billboards’ employees ensure its 6,800+ billboard faces are in prime shape to best display its advertiser’s advertisements. Lindmark Ink’s employees make sure its customers’ advertisements are printed on the highest quality vinyl, using the highest quality inks, running through state of the art printers in order to meet its industry leading 24-hour turnaround from artwork approval. And, now Lindmark Steel’s employees ensure that all of Lindmark Billboards’ new billboards are fabricated according to rigid engineering standards out of the best steel and are constructed to make certain the advertising faces receive the best read possible from the traveling public.
In addition to the hard work, Lindmark’s employees also play hard. Lindmark emphasizes to its employees the need to maintain a work-life balance, and in this light Lindmark tries to engage its workforce through its litany of fringe benefits, which this year also included a company retreat at The Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino Resort in Mescalero, New Mexico. Employees were treated to a range of activities from golf and ziplining to shopping in nearby Ruidoso, New Mexico. While the employees worked to develop and improve their work teams, they also worked hard to win for their kickball team in the company’s inaugural kickball game, which ended in a 6-6 tie.
How is the Top 50 list compiled? Employees completed a survey in December 2022, administered by Great Place to Work®. The results of that survey led Lindmark to be recognized as a 2023 Great Place to Work®. That information was categorized according to industry, and the Top 50 employers in Advertising and Marketing are indicated on this list.
